I made these 3" eggs and chicks from the left over dough from my earlier puzzle cookies. I flooded them at the same time, but then got lazy and didn't want to decorate further.
This morning, i finally decided i should do something... so i piped the wings (ya..how difficult is that and i procrastinated for the longest time until the cookie is stale by now..LOL!) and then the eggs with some designs. But after just piping 8 cookies, i got bored and didn't want to pipe further.
So, i took out my other tips which i had quite a while but never used and decided to pipe all the various types of frills.. Not quite sure what i was going to do or how the frills was going to turn out either. But i went ahead and piped right onto the cookies without trying first on a piece of paper because i didn't have enough icing left. After all, nobody is going to eat the cookies except me... and maybe my daughter...and i'm not going to give anyone since it should be pretty stale by now. LOL!
So after all the experimenting..the above is all i can come up with. It's pretty bad..LOL! But at least i get a view now of all the types of pleats i can create now. :p
Couldn't decide if like the 1st photo better or this one. Somehow i like this photo too because it is like all in a row.. :)
Happy Easter everyone and let's not forget that Easter is not about eggs or chicks or bunnies, but the real meaning of Easter is "Christ is Risen!". :)
